Having purchased many cars throughout my life, I can honestly say my experience with Hugh Boggan Motors in Gorey was second to none. I spent quite a bit of time searching for this specific model with other dealers—mainly in Dublin—but the level of service here was on a different level.

I’m getting on in years and I have dealt with many garages in my time. Without a doubt, Hugh Boggan’s in Gorey is the best of them. I dealt with Brendan Doyle in Sales but I got a really good feel there, from talking to other customers, from the interaction between staff and customers and between staff themselves. It was clear that their philosophy is for the long term and not a quick sale and is that a satisfied customers is good for business. Sounds so obvious doesn’t it and yet so many garages stop caring once the cheque hits their bank account.

Brendan was honest and helpful through the whole process and I could feel that philosophy shining through. He gave me a fair price both for the car I bought and for the one I traded in. He restored my faith in garages. I’ll definitely stick with them from now on.

In Dublin my Toyota dealer had a 4/5 week waiting list to book a service. With Hugh Boggins I had it done within 10 days. Great device and was washed and ready within 4/5 hours. Highly recommended 👍

kind and reliable courtiers: I arrived an hour late for the service appointment and they served me anyway, offering me a coffee and a biscuit ... spectacular indeed!

I have experienced poor customer service through the sales team. They did not appear to have any interest in my custom/enquiry, rather attempted to push expensive cars on me. It appeared that they also had no interest when I asked about a cheaper car they had. I maintained a polite tone with them, they said they would return to me about the car I was interested in and also to inform me of the trade-in value of my car....no further contact from them. It also appeared that the person could not wait to get off the phone when they realised I didn't have big bucks to spend. Don't ignore the "small customers" lads, bad for business.
