I recently purchased a 15 Vauxhall insignia after getting an excellent trade in price for my own Honda Civic far better then other dealers, I noticed a dent on the car when purchasing and mark had it taken care of, also front headlamp was slightly cracked mark had it replaced as well, with an excellent 12 month warranty mark will stand over the car bumper to bumper, any issues that have come up which is expected with a used car it’s been dealt with, if your looking for a new car look no further than prestige auto traders

They don't know what they sell. Bought a car that I later had to sell due to moving abroad. Turns out the car had been a taxi and was marked as so by Motorcheck. Due to this Nissan lost interest in buying the car back, I eventually had to sell privately and lost 2000 euro vs the offer from Nissan. Upon selling, the buyer recognised a couple marks on the roof as taxi sign alignment stickers (Shown in picture), probing that Prestige Auto doesn't even know how to visually identify an ex-taxi.

Furthermore, the car was sold to me with a steering issue which took 5 months and multiple trips back and forth to be fixed. Prestige Autos didn't even notice this issue before selling the car, or after the first two times the car was supposedly fixed. The misalignment was so bad the lane departure warning would eventually go off when driving on a straight road. I ended up having to record this on the attached video to show Prestige autos that the car was NOT fine, despite them not even realising.

Hi Mark Simpson, We bought an insignia car back on November 20. It's been almost three months and we still don't have the look book for the car!!!! Every time you promised to do everything, but did nothing. Now you are not responding to messages and calls.
When will we get the paperwork for the car? And everything else you promised?
We couldn't get the car for over a month, every day you said what we wanted to hear, but there was no car, even though we paid full price right away. Now the same situation with the look book, and the money you promised Mark to send for the road tax, insurance, and auto repairs. There is nothing... It's been almost three months!!!! When will you fulfill your promises?

We bought the car insignia from Mark Simpson over a month ago! It needed a little touch up in the back and Mark said it would be done within 3 days and Mark would bring the car to us! The car wasn't done in 3 days, Mark said he would bring it to us in a couple of days! My husband asked to leave work on that day and the car never arrived. In a month Mark each time promised to bring the car, but did not bring, and did not say where it is, in what condition. We had only the receipt of purchase, but the car and the documents were not there. Then Mark stopped contacting us. A week ago we were able to pick up the car, but we still hadn't received the paperwork! Before we bought the car, Mark promised to do the road tax, but he never did. We had insurance from the first day we bought the car and the actual car wasn't there. When we picked up the car, a week ago Mark promised to pay the road tax and insurance reimbursement within a few days, but the payment didn’t came! I don't understand this attitude, this was our first car in Ireland, we came here from Ukraine fleeing the war, lost many friends and family! We didn't ask for anything supernatural, we just wanted to buy a car and drive to work to help those left behind in the war.
Mark, can you please tell me when you will have the paperwork for the car? When will you drop the money for the road tax, and for the insurance that we paid for a month when the car was in the unknown, and you promised every day to bring it?! You promised to do the NCT too, but you didn't.

Hello Mark! We bought our car insignia from you two months ago but we still haven't received the paperwork! You don't respond to messages...
We had a hard time picking up our car from you, you promised to bring it every day but the car never came, even though we paid full price for it right away.
Now the same situation with the documents. To messages and calls you do not answer, no documents.
Please keep your promises!

I bought an Audi A3 from these guys about a year and a half ago.
They have a nice premises and the lads were  pleasant enough to deal with.

The ad stated the engine was fully rebuilt which I was originally slightly sceptical of.

However the car I purchased has had constant mechanical/electrical issues.
The car came with a 1 year “bumper to bumper” warranty.

After 2 days of owning the car one of the doors wouldn’t open, so I had to bring it back and leave it with them for a day or 2 and in fairness they did do the repair and sorted the issue.

Then came multiple issues ranging from the rear lights not working due to the circuit board being highly corroded (later resulting in me needing to buy brand new rear light units).

The water pump appeared to be failing so I had to bring it back to prestige to get a new one fitted and was charged.

I didn’t expect all of the work to be covered by the warranty of course I just felt it was used as an easy way to make the customer feel confident in the car their buying.

Since those issues I’ve had countless repairs done ; new crankshaft sensor, new ignition barrel, new clutch master cylinder, new coil packs, on top of routine maintenance which has made the car a very expensive endeavour.

I do still have the car and I do really like it ,  I just feel the standard of the car I was sold 1 and a half years ago wasn’t in a state where I feel any motor trader should be aloud sell.
