I had a great experience at Slsney View Car Motors thanks to Molly. She was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Molly took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I understood all my options, and never made me feel pressured. Her knowledge and customer service really stood out, and she made buying a car smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend asking for Molly if you’re looking for someone honest, patient, and easy to work with. Thanks again for the excellent service

Great experience when we came by Slaney with our foreign registration Honda today. After a road assistance over the weekend when our car ran out of 12V battery the warning lights remained on amber on the dashboard. Car needed a reset through a computer hook up. Slaney sorted me out in 20 minutes and on our way again. Terrific people!

I couldn’t recommend Slaneyview Motors enough. Molly in particular was exceptionally knowledgable about the cars I was interested in and couldn’t have been more helpful. I wanted to trade in my car and I was called the same evening with a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Slaneyview Motors to anyone looking to buy, and ask for Molly!

I have bought many cars from Slaney Motors over a number of years ,I must say they are very professional and always go that extra mile to look after the customers requirements . I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a car as they are honest and their knowledge of the business is second to none. Well done Margo and colleagues keep up the good work.

4 breakdowns in 3 years I bought a 2014 Honda CR-V from Slaney Honda in November 2022, and it has been nothing short of a disaster from day one. The car was sold to me in a condition that should never have left a reputable dealership—tyres at near-minimum tread, clearly unserviced, faulty wipers grinding on the windscreen, and blocked washer nozzles. All of this became obvious within 24 hours. I had to return the car immediately for basic work that should have been done before sale. Within two months, the engine cut out while I was driving. That set the tone for what has become a pattern of failure, breakdowns, and excuses. I have now had FOUR breakdowns in just over three years. The most telling example of the standard of work is the ignition barrel. After a breakdown in November 2024 where the key jammed completely, I paid €600 to have it replaced. Just 15 months later, in April 2026, the exact same failure has happened again. €600 for a repair that doesn’t even last 15 months speaks for itself. On top of that, the car was fitted with the wrong type of battery—a standard flooded battery instead of the required stop-start battery. This caused ongoing power steering faults, warning lights, and poor performance. When I raised this, I was told by the Service Manager that it was “a better battery,” which is frankly absurd. It was only replaced after another breakdown and when I mentioned taking the matter further. At this stage, it’s not bad luck—it’s a pattern of substandard preparation, poor workmanship, and an unwillingness to take responsibility unless pushed. I’ve spent enough time, money, and energy dealing with this. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from or relying on this dealership to think very carefully.
