We bought a used volvo xc90 from Ian in Newgate and I have to say the service we received was exceptional.  I didn't want to leave this review initially because it was just another car sale but the aftersales care was as good as you could expect from a garage.  We had a few issues with the car some small and some not so small but in fairness to Ian he dealt with each of them and made sure they were sorted.  The warranty was important to us and we did need it for these few issues but we really have to compliment Ian for the way he handled them each time.  If management read this please pass it on to Ian.  Thank you for the great service, from us both.  We would definitely buy from Newgate again in future purely based on this interaction.

My sister and I visited Newgate Motors in Navan and dealt with Conor Kealy. I test drove a car and my sister enquired about another. Conor took my number and said he would call that afternoon with figures.
He never called.
When you’re ready to make a serious purchase, basic follow-up is the minimum you expect. The lack of communication made it clear that our business wasn’t a priority.
Very disappointing experience.
