Was here for a CVRT test on a van. Was really impressed with the way the lady on the reception desk went above and beyond to not only facilitate me when I arrived too early ( my mistake), but also the elderly gentleman who booked an NCT in error when his jeep was actually meant to have a DOE test. She went as far as to make sure he had a cup of tea and something to eat after being there for hours. That kind of compassion and kindness is rare these days. All I can say is well done. The world needs more people like this.

Great staff, amazing value and even better after customer service

After weeks of delays in another place and ultimately breaking down again, I decided to try Aherns. They investigated the issue the next working day and called me with a few options on how to rectify the matter. The car was sorted the following day. I found their quick turnaround of the job and communication excellent.

Used to get my 7 series serviced here but never again. Have never experienced the level of ignorant obnoxious arrogance anywhere that I experienced repeatedly with 1 person in particular in their BMW customer service department last summer. Even when I tried to deal with others there on other maintenence or repair issues afterwards to avoid him because of his attitude I kept getting handed back to this person. I'd rather the steering wheel come off in my hands or travel the 2hrs to Cork from Tralee to a main dealer than ever again return. As an example: "Go ask John because he was dealing with it, not us". I.e., get lost and don't be annoying me over the thing we promised to phone you back on 3 times (while John no longer even worked in the BMW section as I was ordered off to find him in BYD and "ask him yourself").

My 530e brakes got spongy following brakes fluid change in aherns .went back to them they did diagnostic leak nothing found had to go that day ,went back again took whole day as they said bled multiple times and diagnostic tests couldn't found anything. In the end came up with the master cylinder change recommendation of which they still unsure would it fix problem
