Great place for local diy and construction large and small and the garden. Friendly helpfull staff with a lot of knowledge. Somethings may cost a few cents more but then again do you need to travel 25km or more bumping the fuel costs and time. And then what you need may not be available etc. Plus if you need delivery they can help by scheduling the stuff to be dropped off...

I usually have some reason to visit Brandon Plant & Tool Hire each week. Brandon's are located on the outskirts of Graiguenamanagh, Co.kilkenny, they sell hardware, tools, paint, plumbing, electric, building, garden and and DIY stuff. It's not a huge store, but it stocks all the basic DIY stuff you might need. Eddie and Jason are usually behind the counter, and have always been very friendly and helpful to me, offering advise on various things I might ask them about. All in all a good spot to visit and I would recommend Brandon's to anyone looking for hardware or building stuff.

Machine i hired was good quality, done the job. However communication wasn't brilliant and this companies policy is a full week is 6 days not 7 and I was not informed of this.

Compost and manure riddled with weed seeds and bind weed dispite Jason selling as screened! It has totally destroyed my garden and I will curse them for many years to come

Cannot give zero so one star is more than they schould expect. Do not buy loose top soil from them. Its described as "screened" but it is not. You can find big rocks, plastic bags, broken glass in it. Not to mention about lots of big lumps of grass tufts.
