Just collected my new BYD Sealion 7 Excellence. What a car!!! Comfort, power and refinement all rolled into one beautiful package. Service from Erti and Joe was fantastic. Both of the guys were very friendly,  kept me informed at every stage of the process while I was waiting for car to arrive and gave me a thorough handover explaining everything about car. Can’t recommend BYD Waterford enough!!!

I recently bought a BYD Sealion 7 from Joe and the team at BYD Waterford, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the customer service has been outstanding. The whole setup made the process smooth and enjoyable, and the follow-up service has been second to none.

The car itself is out of this world – incredible range, amazing to drive, and easily one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. On top of that, the aftercare package is unbelievable: customer service calls to check in, free servicing for a few years, free tyres, brakes, and even window wipers.

Joe and the team have really gone above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks to everyone at BYD Waterford for making this such a great experience.

Excellent service from start to finish! Decided to trade in my VW to buy a brand new BYD Seal U-Dmi. Received a very competitive trade-in price, so I decided to go ahead with the order. From the order to delivery, Erti and Joe kept in touch with me and informed me of the required steps to finalise the deal. Excellent attention to detail and customer service. Handover process was very simple and efficient.
I can not comment on vehicle service and aftersales experiance, but will definitely update on this at later stage once this service is required.

Personally buying an electric car has turned out to be an absolute disaster. Forget driving from Wexford to Dublin and back without stopping for an hour. We drove to Spain, the whole journey was incredibly stressful, having to stop five times and when we could eventually find chargers that worked apps are necessary; being in a foreign language made it harder, all in all it costs more than driving a diesel and considerably more than a hybrid. My advice is regarding an
Atto3 or any electric vehicle, if you plan on going any distance DO NOT BUY. The technology and infrastructure is just not there yet! The car is uncomfortable for me as no lumbar support, the passenger seat is not fully adjustable and the tech is very slow and glitchy, Apple CarPlay is hit and miss. I would definitely go with a phev; I test drove a Peugeot 3008 but it wasn’t charged on the day, so we ended up with this albatross of a car.
I should have done more research I know, a very expensive mistake and a lot of earache! Should have known something was wrong anyway when the salesman told me that the car had no neutral!!
I hope my horrendous experience has some informative, to save anyone else from making the same mistake.
