On a Thursday last I got a flat tyre and pulled off the road.just at the entrance to Crossgar Commercial. Simon who I later found out was the owner saw my predicament and told me to take my car down to his workshop where mechanics took off my wheel and since I had no spare drove me to a nearby tyre centre where a new tyre was fitted. They drove me back and put the wheel back on. I really would have been stuck without their help. Simon refused to take any payment for his trouble. You don’t often come across such courtesy.

Had issues with the speedo cluster on my Boxer Camper. Took it to Simon and the team at Crossgar Commercials, and they got my issue sorted out in no time at a very reasonable price indeed. Service with a smile, friendly people and an excellent standard of work and service. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend the friendly folk here!! I will be using Crossgar Commercials again....

I purchased a Luton van from Simon a number of months ago. He was very pleasant and helpful every step of the way with the sale. Unfortunately we ran into a few problems with the van (these things happen) but Simon and his team couldn’t have done enough for me with getting the van sorted. They really do go the extra mile. Thanks again guys really appreciate everything you’s have done.

Great all round experience for van hire.Courteous, competitive and flexible. The van I hired had only 750 miles, so for my 350 mile round trip it was the perfect choice. Immaculately clean vehicle with good parking at the site. I'll definitely be hiring my next car or van from Simon and his team

I had a quick test drive – the staff member was very friendly, and all went well. I then came back 4 days later as I had basically decided I would buy the van and I had a few questions. This time I met the owner (Simon). The advert stated the van came with a “pre-delivery inspection” and so I asked what this included (which seems like a reasonable thing to ask). The whole tone changed, he was really unpleasant and made a few comments about how they didn’t provide that sort of detail and I’d be better going to one of the bigger dealerships – it was clear he basically just wanted me to leave. I wasn’t looking for a 100 point list (as he inferred) – just an idea of what sort of checks they do. I’ve never seen a salesperson behave like this – still can’t work out what was really going on. Anyway, I was left quite unsettled by the whole experience. I’m just glad I didn’t do a deal with these people before it was too late.
