They made assumptions without properly inspecting the actual issue with the car. They quoted a high repair cost and a long TAT. I got the same problem fixed elsewhere for just €50. I would recommend going to a more professional and thorough mechanic. They are bit sarcastic as well.

Awful experience. Got clutch done here two months ago which cost €1000 and I've had so many problems since. Firstly they took almost 2 weeks to fix the car then 2 days after I got it back I got warning oil low. Turned out cap wasn't put properly on oil and it spilled all over engine. Next I noticed a rattle so took it to a garage I trust near my work in dublin and had to pay 80 euro to fix drop link which broke due to this garage not putting a screw back in. Then 2 weeks ago I broke down on motorway after all electrics going and when aa came out he discovered it was due to wiring that had not been tightened. He asked if I had a big job done recently and told him about clutch and he said it was most likely due to the mechanic that carried this out and even an apprentice would not do that. Then my car broke down in Clare and turned out it was alternator which cost 230. I believe this could be due to oil cap not being replaced correctly as it was one of places oil spilt. I am now afraid of what other problems may be with my car.
