Experiences like this make you fall in love not only with Ireland, but also with its people. We simply walked in because we urgently needed to replace our alternator belt. A truly wonderful woman at the reception kindly called a mechanic, who managed to help us immediately and complete the job in just half an hour, even though we had no appointment. He went out of his way to help us get back on the road. He was incredibly polite and professional, explained everything in great detail, and gave us an even stronger belief in the kindness of people. At the same time, the gorgeous woman at reception was smiling and laughing with us while answering the question, “What is love?” And somehow, we felt the answer right there, in that place. Can't recommend Alan enough, had my jeep at 2 different garages who weren't able to find what the issue was. Dropped it to Alan and the next evening he rang me to say he had identified the problem and I could collect the jeep the following evening. Service and work really was second to none. Highly recommend him for any electric/wiring issues you have. Thanks again Alan, will 100% be back.

Absolutely the worst place in Athlone! Do not go there. They charged over €500 for a basic service—I've never experienced anything like this. Even when you point out their mistakes, they refuse to accept responsibility. Avoid this place at all costs! I could have taken my car to a main dealer and been charged less.

I called Hogan’s to enquire about gas for my air con and was met with a surprisingly rude attitude. When I mentioned it was probably the older type (as I’d paid €80 previously), I was sharply told, “Well you won’t be getting it at that price here.” Completely unnecessary tone and attitude. First and last time dealing with this business.
