Bought a car in August 2024. Needed a car in a hurry as my wife had been in a serious road accident writing off our car. Stephen very kindly delivered the car to the door and was sympathetic to our situation. He suggested a 2 year warranty for peace of mind which we took at extra cost. 1 year later, the car ran into trouble so we contacted Steven to discover the company had folded. He assured us our  warranty was safe as it had been registered with car protect.ie. We rang car direct to discover he hadn't registered the car registration with the company (or paid them). Re examining the sales receipt we noted he had not included the cost of the warranty instead listing the  2 year protection cover as free. At the time of issue we didn't examine the invoice as my wife was critical in hospital along with my daughter (both passengers). Steven had scammed us knowing the huge trauma and stress that surrounded the purchase of the car. This man on the face of things is a very smooth and helpful sales man but behind it has no scruples. While he is no longer trading under Acee Car Sales Ltd he is trading under Acee Autolocks and repairs. Beware!!
